The Sierra Leone Encyclopedia is a core project of the Sierra Leone Information System positioned under DACO. First developed in 2001, this is now the Sixth edition of the Encyclopedia.                                                
The Encyclopedia 2007 of Sierra Leone is a joint UN/GoSL effort.

Designed to facilitate information sharing, the Encyclopedia 2007 of Sierra Leone aims to enable better and more informed coordination, development planning, decision-making and policy formulation.
