| At the November 2002 Consultative Group (CG) meeting for Sierra Leone, concerns about effective aid coordination and management resurfaced strongly. It was consequently agreed that a two-tier structure for aid coordination be created. As a result, the Sierra Leone Development Partnership Committee (DEPAC) was created as a policy forum chaired by the Vice President and co-chaired by the World Bank and UNDP, supported by the Development Assistance Coordination Office (DACO). |

The
CG meeting also agreed on a Results Framework for monitoring certain
key indicators and benchmarks. Progress on these benchmarks are
reported on at every DEPAC meeting.
