The Sierra Leone Poverty Reduction
Strategy was completed in 2005 and presented to donors at the 4th
Consultative Group (CG) Meeting held in London in November, 2005. At
that CG meeting, it was agreed that annual CG meetings will be held
in Sierra Leone to review the progress and address challenges to
implementation of the Poverty Reduction Strategy.
Consequently, the Government of Sierra
Leone and its development partners held the first CG in Freetown
on 29th - 30th November 2006 at the Bintumani hotel.
This meeting was held to review the
Sierra Leone Poverty Reduction Strategy (SL-PRS).
